Al Maha is the first ecotourism resort in the United Arab Emirates.

The first Emirates group of hotels and resorts that provides guests total exclusivity with a unique heritage experience, as no outside visitors are allowed, and considering reintroduction of the indengenous flora and fauna, including endangered species, such as the arabian Oryx, now 200 oryx. The resort does not allow children below age of 12 years.

Total 42 suites including 37 bedouin suites with upgraded private pool of 7. 5 m x 6. 5 m recommended for honeymooners and individual travelers seeking tranquility. 2 royal suites, 2 emirates suites and 1 presidential suite.

All interiors capture the essence of the arabian local heritage, which includes tented ceilings and handcrafted furniture and antiques. The same items can be purchased from the resort and shipment can be arranged.

Personalized service provided by 150 international staff speaking 30 different languages, serving a total of 86 guests. Staff to guest ratio is 3,1. Guest can participate in the following activities: archery, falconry, nature walks, and guided safari to view the animals, camel trekking, horse riding and spa.

Our cuisine is a blend of Mediterranean, middle eastern, international and asian dishes. Dinner can be taken on the deck of the private patio, in the desert or in our luxurious dining room.
