The new design pays homage to the undeniably visionary heritage of Royalton. The ambient glow of a massive cast-bronze fireplace embraces you as you enter Royaltons lobby.

Redesigned by design firm Roman and Williams and inspired by 20th century Nairobi, the lobby features an eclectic mixture of original and vintage furniture; surfaces made from velvets, suede, and furs; and treated brass and aluminum. Just past the lobby, the legendary Round Bar, now known as Bar 44, offers an intimate setting with views extending from the entrance and lobby to the cream-toned leather walls of Brasserie 44, the latest eatery by John McDonald of the acclaimed Lever House.

Featuring designed public spaces, a restaurant, and lobby, the Royalton, A Morgans Original provides bell service, coffee-to-go, a business center, and a living room with chess and books offered with afternoon tea or drinks.

A 24-hour fitness room is on site. Personal trainers are available upon request, as well as in-room massage and spa services. The hotels guest rooms have been re-imaged by Charlotte Macaux, retaining Philippe Starks original bold features, while updating the rooms to embrace the needs of the 21st Century jet-set, including wired and wireless internet access, Bose IPOD docking stations, HD Flat Screen TV's and great work spaces. Three penthouse suites with multi-service function space are available. Amenities include audio-visual and telecommunications equipment, and plasma monitors.
